About us

Cleveland Outlook, originally Cleveland Coffee Pot, has been in existence for over 50 years. We are a mixed social group who meet most Monday's to participate in an interesting and varied programme of activities. The Club offers a way for like-minded people to meet in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. It is a voluntary group run by the members for the members.

We do...

Arranged activities include; monthly presentations/talks by a visiting speaker, theatre visits, quizzes, ten pin bowling, pub nights, evenings organised by our members plus days out and visits to local places of interest.

During the summer months there are more outdoor events, these include a Foot Treasure Hunt and BBQ.

Membership

HOW TO JOIN?
After two complimentary visits to the Club, if you wish to join there is an annual subscription fee of £37 due in March. If you join after March your subscription will be calculated on a pro rata basis. This charge helps pay for speakers, the room hire and general running costs. Additional charges are made for some events.

Durham Walk

Glorious day. Parked up in Shincliffe for a pub lunch. A leisurely walk along the river bank into Durham for tea and a cake, returning again along the river bank.

Durham Cathedral

Day out in Durham. In the morning we had an escorted tour of the magnificent Durham Cathedral followed by Lunch in the Cathedral cafe. Afternoon visit to the Lindisfarne Gospels. Tea then home. Lovely day

First Friday Walkers

Our walking group is well established and does a variety of very interesting walks in the area.

Day out in Richmond, North Yorkshire

A morning walk along the riverside visiting the amazing ruins of Easby Abbey. Lunch in the old Richmond railway station followed by a very interesting conducted tour of Richmond's Georgian Theatre.

Tea on the Teesside Princess

Enjoying a most delicious Afternoon tea whilst cruising on the Teesside Princess up the River Tees from Stockton to Yarm and back.

Day out in the Esk valley

Our happy band of walkers went from Whitby along the old railway line to Ruswarp. The reward was to enjoy afternoon tea in the cafe by the river before returning home.
